securing
the
adapter
and
remove
the
failing
adapter.

Remove
the
new
adapter
from
its
static-protective
package.
4.
Install
the
new
adapter
into
the
appropriate
slot
on
the
system
board
and
secure
the
adapter
with
the
adapter-slot-latch.
