If You Cannot Solve the Problem
If you have a problem with your machine and you cannot solve it by referring to the 
information in this chapter, contact Canon Authorized Service Facilities or the 
Canon Customer Care Center at 1-800-828-4040 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. 
to 8:00 P.M. EST Monday through Friday and 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday. 
For interactive troubleshooting, e-mail technical support, the latest driver 
downloads and answers to frequently asked questions you can also visit our 
support site at www.canontechsupport.com.
CAUTION
If the machine makes strange noises, emits smoke or strange smells, unplug 
the power cord immediately, and then contact Canon Authorized Service 
Facilities or the Canon Customer Care Center. Do not attempt to disassemble or 
repair the machine yourself.

Attempting to repair the machine yourself may void the limited warranty.
