Step 5 – Loading Fanfold Paper

This sequence describes how to load the fanfold paper with the 
Front1 Push tractor assembly (default). For the other paper paths 
please see the User’s Manual you find on the CD-Rom. 

 

1. Turn the printer on. 

2.  Open the tractor area cover 

turning it upwards and lay it 
on the top of the printer

.

 

 

3.  Unlock the sprockets of the 

tractor moving the sprocket 
levers: up for the 3870Plus 
model or down for the 3850 
model. Slide the left sprocket 
to the first printing column.
