Displaying the SMS window
To display the SMS window:
1.
From the Extras menu on the Watcher menu, choose
SMS
.
Creating and sending an SMS message
To create and send an SMS message:
1.
Ensure you have 1X service.
2.
Display the SMS window (see above).
3.
Click
Send SMS
.
4.
In the
To:
field, enter the recipientʹs phone number.
— or—
In the To: field, enter the first or last name of a person who
is in Address Book.
— or—
Click the
In the To: field, enter the first or last name of a person who
is in Address Book.
— or—
Click the
To:
button, and then select a recipient from
Address Book.
5.
In the
Message:
field, type your message. The maximum
length of an SMS message is usually about 160 characters.
6.
Click
Send
.
Replying to or forwarding an SMS
message

To reply to or forward an SMS message:
1.
Ensure you have 1X service.
3.
Select the message you want to reply to.
4.
Click
Reply SMS
.
5.
If youʹre forwarding this message:
a.
In the
To:
field, enter the recipientʹs phone number.
— or—
In the To: field, enter the first or last name of a person
who is in Address Book.
— or—
Click the
In the To: field, enter the first or last name of a person
who is in Address Book.
— or—
Click the
To:
button, and then select a recipient from
Address Book.
6.
In the
Message:
field, type your message.
7.
Click
Send
.
