Controller Module
The Controller Module is shown in Figure 8 with
the hinged protective door open. Features at the
front of the Controller Module include:

readily accessible for field replacement.
2 - RS-232 Port; interface to the PC configuration
tool, external modem, or Modbus device

or Modbus device
5 - Ethernet 10BaseT Port; interface to peer
controllers, HMIs, and other networks
6 – Private Ethernet 10BaseT Port; interface to I/O
expansion racks (C50 CPU only)
7 - Status indicator for controller functions
8 - Status indicators for communications functions
