The Configuration options are presented in the order of likelihood you will need to use them. 

Quickstart is 

typically accessed during the hardware installation and initial configuration phase. 

should be changed only in accordance with information from your Service Provider. LAN and WAN 
settings are available to fine-tune your system. 

Advanced provides some special capabilities typically used 

for gaming or small office environments, or where LAN-side ser vers are involved.

Quickstar t is normally used immediately after the new hardware 

is installed. When you are first configuring your Gateway, Quickstar t appears first.

(Once you have configured your Gateway, logging on displays the Home page. Thereafter, if you need to use 
Quickstar t, choose it from the Exper t Mode Configure menu.)

PPP Quickstart configuration. Your gateway authenticates with the Ser-

vice Provider equipment using the ISP Username and Password. These values are given to you by your Ser-
vice Provider.
