Report Software Details
When reporting problems you should be ready to report the following software details to 
Alcatel Technical Support:
• Software revision (e.g., 3.4.8, 4.3.2)
• Whether the feature never worked or was intermittent
• Bridging or routing configured
• Multiple groups or 
VLANs
 configured
IP
 
PING
 access
• Statistics incrementing correctly
• Protocols used
• Any capture file (trace) available
• Any dump files on flash file system
