Once the filter is fully inserted, push the wooden ruler against the filters surface

NetScreen-5400 Fan Module
To replace the fan module on a NetScreen-5400:
1.
Loosen the top and bottom thumbscrews with a Phillips-head screwdriver,
turning them counterclockwise.

Grip the screws, and then gently slide the fan module out.
Note:
Make sure that the filter is secure against the Velcro wall; otherwise the
filter will tear when you reinstall the fan.
Warning:
Do not remove the fan module while the fans are still spinning.
