Check the PF motor and sensor connections

Replace the PF motor (internal sensor)

Problem
PG origin sensor malfunction (may indicate PG motor malfunction)

Solution
Make sure there is no ink or dust on the surface of the sensor. If this 
does not solve the problem, check the PG sensor connection. If there 
still is a problem, try the following.

Problem
Cover sensor malfunction - one or both cover open sensors (interlock 
switch) located at either end of the cover shaft is malfunctioning.

right sensor (HP side)

Solution
Make sure the sensor(s) are properly installed. If that does not solve 
the problem, check the cover open sensor connection. If there still is a 
problem, try the following.
