When you press a key, the frequency appears.

Turn the scroll control to display an option, then

press the scroll control.

Lets you select how the

scanner alerts you when it receives a Close

Call signal. You can select any of the following

options.

(the scanner beeps when it receives a

Close Call signal)

•

(the backlight turns on when it

receives a Close Call signal)

•

(the scanner beeps and the

backlight turns on when it receives a Close

Call signal)

•

(the scanner does not alert)

•

(the scanner does not beep)

•

- (the scanner sounds an alert

beep to notify you of a Close Call hit. When

you select an alert level, the scanner

automatically enters the setting of the Alert

volume level. You can choose different beep

types.)

Lets you select how long the

scanner waits after a hit before it returns to the

previous operation.
