the scanner. To charge the batteries, set
REG. ALK. BATT./NI-MH BATT. inside the battery
compartment to NI-MH BATT., install the batteries in
the scanner, and connect an optional external AC
adapter to the scanner's DC 6V jack (see “Using AC
Power” on Page 19).
