7. Route house wiring into the ceiling as close
to the installation location as possible.

8. Connect the electrical wires according to
color (black to black, white to white, and
green to green) and cap with wire
connectors. Green wire must be grounded

Ductwork Installation
9. Use 6” round aluminum or steel pipe (not
provided) to connect the 6” round damper
on the hood to the ductwork above. NOTE:
Place 6” round duct pipe over the damper.
Seal with duct tape to make all joints secure
and tight. NOTE: MAKE SURE FLAPS ON
DAMPER CAN OPEN & CLOSE FREELY.
