Emergency Calls, Phone Number Moni-
toring
A warning appears on the client console 
when a stored phone number (e.g. police, 
fire service, internal emergency calls, etc.) 
is dialed. The staff member at the console 
or in the front office can see which room or 
extension has made such a call. This means 
that the internal or external numbers for se-
curity, police or fire service can be moni-
tored.

Changing the Language on the Terminal 
(Display) for HiPath 4000
If telephone terminals with displays are 
used, the system can indicate the guest’s 
preferred language, so that display informa-
tion is provided in this language. Availability 
of this function depends on the telephone 
system used.

Managing More Than One Guest Tele-
phone
So that several extensions can be operated 
in a room, a suite or a conference room, and 
so that these can be billed to one guest, the 
system allows several phones to be allocat-
ed to one room. Each room is allocated at 
least one extension, called the master ex-
tension. It is possible to group together sev-
eral room telephones using the technical 
options of the communications server 
(group call, call pickup group, hunt group, 
etc.).

Zoning Table – Import
As well as evaluating call data signals from 
the connected carrier, call charges can also 
be calculated by means of a zoning table. 
The zoning table is imported into the HiPath 
Hospitality Service Center for this purpose.
