Connect with a USB Cable
Charging the battery while the power is off
Connect the player to the PC USB terminal as described in the figure, while the power is off, using the 
USB cable.

The USB cable connection status will be displayed on the LCD.

If no data transmission is detected between PC and portable disc, battery charging will 
be started after a certain period of time with battery lamp (         ) flashing.
  When using the player for a first time, recharge the player for 4 hours before use.
 
Recharging time: 3 hours (From Empty to Full)

  You can also charge the battery while playing back the music when you connect the USB cable while the power is 
on. At this time, the available battery amount lamp will flash so that you can check the charging status. When fully 
charged, the icon will be changed to (          ).

Do not charge the battery past the specified time.
● 
Do not charge the battery past the specified time. It may cause a fire.
● 
When the playback time reduces dramatically, the internal rechargeable battery must be replaced.
● 
Overcharging and complete discharging the battery may reduce its lifespan.
● 
To use the battery for a long time, recharge the battery fully, and recharge it after complete discharge.  
Repeatedly recharging the battery after short use may reduce its lifespan. If recharged after short use, 
repeating full recharge and drain will restore the battery’s performance.

When using the battery for a first time, or first time in several months, recharge it fully before use.
● 
Battery is an expendable item. Its performance will decrease after the point of purchase.
● 
Do not make the battery come in contact with electric conductors such as a necklace. It may cause fire 
or electric shock.
