IrDA
Your phone has an infrared inter-
face. The distance between two de-
vices must not exceed 30 cm. The 
infrared windows in both devices 
must be aligned as accurately as 
possible with each other.

your phone a Bluetooth name, man-
age the list of known Bluetooth 
devices.

Attempts to make connections to 
devices in this list are rejected.
• My BT name 
The phone is given a name (max. 
16 characters) – this is the name the 
partner sees. If no name is given, the 
phone uses the non-changeable 
device address.
• Visib.to others 
Make settings to specify how your 
phone should "act" when in contact 
with other BT devices. This means 
(if "visible") for example that the 
deviceaddress or the BT name of 
your phone is shown to other BT de-
vices if they request this in order to 
receive or send data. 
• Not visible 
Your phone is not "visible" to other 
BT devices. Known devices such as 
Bluetooth-Headset/Car Kit continue 
operating.
