Read the safety precautions and the user guide before use.
Explain their contents to your children, and the potential hazards
associated with using the telephone.
Only use the mains adapter supplied, as indicated on the underside of the base
station or charging cradle.
C47H, S67H, S45: Fit only the recommended rechargeable batteries
(page 104), i.e. never use a conventional (non-rechargeable) battery or other
battery types as this could result in significant health risks and personal injury.
Batteries should not be disposed of in general household waste. Observe the
local waste disposal regulations, which you can find out about by contacting
your local authority or the dealer you purchased the product from.
SL37H, SL56, E45: Fit only the approved rechargeable battery pack
(page 104)! Never use a conventional (non-rechargeable) battery pack as this
could damage your health and cause injury. Use the battery pack recom-
mended in the handset's user guide.
Batteries should not be disposed of in general household waste. Observe the
local waste disposal regulations, which you can find out about by contacting
your local authority or the dealer you purchased the product from.
Ensure correct polarity when fitting rechargeable batteries, and use the
battery type specified in these instructions (you will see polarity symbols in
the handset's battery compartments).
The operation of medical appliances may be affected. Be aware of the techni-
cal conditions in your particular environment (e. g. medical practice).
Do not hold the handset to your ear when it is ringing or when the handsfree
function is activated. This can cause severe, permanent hearing damage.
The handset may cause an unpleasant humming noise in hearing aids.
Do not install the base station in bathrooms or shower rooms (page 101).
The handset and base station are not watertight.
Do not use your phone in environments with a potential explosion hazard
(e. g. paint  shops).
