Returning the 5100/6100 VDR to the default config
You can return the 5100/6100 VDR to the manufacturer’s default settings by issuing the default
command. You need to save and reset the 5100/6100 VDR for changes to take effect.

In this example, the 5100/6100 VDR is returned to the manufacturer’s default settings. All
interfaces are returned to the manufacturer’s preset values:

LAN default IP address is 192.168.0.254 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0

WAN default IP address of 0.0.0.0 with a subnet mask of 0.0.0.0
•
Gateway default IP address of 0.0.0.0
•
Voice default IP address is 0.0.0.0 with a subnet mask of 0.0.0.0
Deleting a file
You can delete a file by issuing the del command.
Syntax: del <name>
Argument:
Syntax: del <name>
Argument:
name
a filename that is up to 8-characters in length followed by a 3-character
extension; characters can be numbers, letters, or _
Example:
In this example, the configuration file named myfiles8.cfg is permanently deleted from the system.
