In this example, the directory “myfiles” is deleted. Before deleting the directory, the 5100/6100 

VDR asks the user to confirm the desired action. A completion message appears after the 

directory is deleted.

You can reset the system from the CLI by issuing the reset command. This command completely 

reloads the current configuration of the software and reads the most recent configuration files. 

The system can also be reset by pressing the reset button on the back panel.

Example:

In this example, the 5100/6100 VDR is reset and is in the process of rebooting. When reset, all 

calls are terminated, and the 5100/6100 VDR system requests confirmation of the reset action. 

Before resetting, the 5100/6100 VDR lists any changes that were made during the current session. 

You can view if a change was made from a telnet or console session, the name of the item 

changed, and the new setting or file name.
