To delete the Custom POIs from your zūmo, 
connect your zūmo to your computer. Open

TourGuide
The TourGuide allows your zūmo to play 
third-party, GPS-guided audio tours. These 
audio tours can take you on a route while

Garmin Travel Guide
Much like a paper travel guide, the Garmin 
Travel Guide provides detailed information 
about places, such as restaurants and hotels. 
To purchase an accessory, go to 
To use the Travel Guide, insert the memory 
card into your zūmo. Touch

Battery Information 
Your zūmo contains a user-replaceable, 
lithium-ion battery. To maximize the lifetime 
of the battery, do not leave your zūmo 
in direct sunlight, and avoid prolonged 
exposure to excessive heat. 
The 
 battery icon in the corner of the 
Menu page indicates the status of the zūmo 
battery. To increase the accuracy of the 
battery gauge, fully discharge the battery and 
fully charge it. Do not unplug the zūmo until 
it is totally charged.
Replacing the Battery in the 
zūmo
If you need to replace the battery in the 
zūmo, use a Garmin lithium-ion battery 
010-11143-00. Purchase a replacement 
battery at

your local waste disposal department for 
information about properly disposing of the 
battery.
Charging Your zūmo
Use the automotive power cable.
Use motorcyle mount
Use the optional USB cable.
Use an optional AC adapter cable. 
  noTe: the battery does not charge in the 
motorcyle mount while the zūmo is turned 
off.
Maximizing the Battery Life
