Using the LCD Monitor
The LCD monitor can help you to compose an image while capturing images, replay recorded images/video
clips, and adjust camera settings.
The mode icons, text and numbers that are displayed on the LCD monitor may vary according to the current

1. Open the lens cover and press the POWER button to turn on your ViviCam 3815.
2. Set the scene mode in the Capture menu based on the desired scenery.

The LCD monitor is difficult to see in strong sunlight. This is not a malfunction.
Using the LCD monitor for an extended period of time will decrease the number of images you can capture.
To conserve battery power and increase the number of images you can capture, we recommend you to turn
the LCD monitor off and use the viewfinder instead.
