combination of system features and ease of use. In addition, the ability to deploy

software based IP phones on the laptops of the mobile workforce vs traditional “hard

phones” makes it less expensive to enable mobile users with a complete solution.)

, moving a phone between offices doesn’t require a tech,

which ultimately results in less/no service call charges.

(2) In addition, where applicable, site to site networking will result in cost savings on

toll charges if these locations are in other cities. If there is a high volume of inter-

office calling, it may reduce the number of outside lines needed at each location.

(3) Also, use the Hot Desk feature if there are employees that are not only

occasionally in office. Hot

Desking allows a number of users, each with their own

extension and mailbox, to use the same desk phone. Each user logs in to

make/receive calls, and can access their own voice mail and other features. For

example, sales personnel who visit the office infrequently can use this feature

without having a permanent office phone, again saving capital cost for the customer.

is compatible with most high performance network switches capable of

supporting VoIP. So if you have recently invested in high quality network equipment,

you may not need to replace it. Keep in mind that in some cases, LAN/WAN

equipment does need to be upgraded, but do not focus on that aspect. It is to be

they are upgradeable in software.)
