Clearing Paper Jams

Gently pull out any jammed paper using the following procedure.

Open the top cover completely q and remove the EP-32 cartridge w. Store the
cartridge in its original protective bag to avoid exposure to light.

CAUTION
It is possible that the top cover could fall down. Please take care not to

• If paper has been output to the face-down tray, remove all of the paper from
the tray before opening the top cover.
• Open the top cover as far as it will go.

• When removing the jammed paper, be careful not to touch the
transfer charging roller. If the roller becomes dirty, the print quality
will deteriorate.
