Wireless Network Interface Board NB-W2
NB-W2 is an interface board to be installed in the expansion slot of the
printer.

The communication mode supports the infrastructure mode and is available
for wireless LAN communication (compatible with IEEE802.11b and
IEEE802.11g, and available for communication of up to 54 Mbps
transmission speed by wireless). Additionally, the security functions
compatible with WEP, IEEE802.1X/EAP (TLS/TTLS/PEAP), PSK, and WPA
(AES) are supported.

IMPORTANT
You cannot use NB-W2 simultaneously with the network interface
(standard network) the printer has.
Specify the interface to be used in PRIMARY NETWORK in EXTENSION
CARD in the INTERFACE MENU options in the SETUP menu. For more
details, see User's Guide supplied with NB-W2.
Installing a Paper Feeder
The paper feeder is to be installed at the bottom of the printer unit.
Make sure that all the following items are contained in the package before
installing the paper feeder. If any item is missing or damaged, please contact
your local authorized Canon dealer.
WARNING
Be sure to turn the printer OFF, unplug the power plug, and then
disconnect all the interface cables and power cord from the printer
before installing the paper feeder. Otherwise, the power cord or
interface cables may be damaged, resulting in a fire or electrical
shock.
