All Contractor Distributed Series In-Wall and In-Ceiling speaker models will mount to walls and ceilings up 

to 1” thick with the mounting wings in the normal position supplied from the factory. If the thickness of the 

wall for ceiling is greater than 1”, the mounting wings must be turned upside down in the tracks to accomo-

date the thicker material. Reversing the direction of the wings will allow the speaker to be installed in walls 

and ceilings up to and including 1 1/2” thick. To reverse the direction of the wings, reverse the mounting 

screws all the way out of the wings. Then carefully pry the wings out of the tracks. Turn the wings over, 

place them back in the tracks and reinstall the mounting screws.

The following models can be installed in wall and ceiling material all the way down to 0” thick: CD520W 

and CD620W.

The  following  models  can  be  installed  in  wall  and  ceiling  material  down  to  1/8”  minimum:  CD520C,

Les enceintes MTX Contractor Distributed encastrables au plafond et au mur ont été conçues pour recev-

oir tout type de peinture intérieure ou extérieure. L’application au pistolet ou au rouleau donne en général 

d’excellents  résultats.  Un  écran  permettant  la  protection  lors  de  la  peinture  est  fourni  avec  toutes  les 

enceintes MTX Contractor Distributed. Avant de peindre les enceintes, retirer les toiles des grilles. Les 

remettre en place dans les grilles une fois la peinture sèche.

Les enceintes MUSICA encastrables au plafond et au mur ont été conçues pour s’intégrer à tout décor in-

térieur. Elles peuvent être installées pratiquement partout où un montage encastré est possible. Toutefois, 

certaines précautions doivent être prises pour optimiser leurs performances acoustiques. Pour obtenir la 

meilleure reproduction stéréo, il faut placer les deux enceintes à égale distance de la position d’écoute et 

les écarter de façon à former un angle de 40 à 60 degrés à partir de la position d’écoute. Voir les Figures
