remove remote-file&<1-10>

SFTP client view

remote-file&<1-10>: Name of a file on an SFTP server. &<1-10> means that you 
can provide up to 10 filenames, which are separated by space.

Use the remove command to delete a specified file from a remote server.

This command functions as the delete command.

# Delete file temp.c from the server.

sftp-client> remove temp.c

The following files will be deleted:

/temp.c

Are you sure to delete it? [Y/N]:y

File successfully Removed

 

rename oldname newname

SFTP client view

oldname: Original file name or directory name.

newname: New file name or directory name.

Use the rename command to change the name of a specified file or directory on 
an SFTP server.

# Change the name of a file on the SFTP server from temp1.c to temp2.c.

sftp-client> rename temp1.c temp2.c

File successfully renamed 

rmdir remote-path&<1-10>
