connected with your computer.  IN this setting, it allows all Copy/Paste/Delete/Play of DRM 

music in the “Media” folder, as well as other non-DRM audio files. You won’t be able to see 

the two pre-downloaded music or voice recorded files on your computer screen (you of 

course may listen to them).   This setting is a broader way of achieving a Mass Storage 

function, and is recommended.   

•  When the setting is as USB disk, it appears as “Removable Disk” in the “my Computer” when 

connected with your computer.  You may process general types of data/audio transformation 
in between your computer and this MP3 player. 

 

•  Press and hold the Mode to set up the player for encryption 
•  After you have installed the software from the CD, the built-in memory in this MP3 player can 

be divided into two disks (one is normal and the other one is encrypted) by accessing the 

“MP3 Player Disk Tool”.  You also may set up a password for the encrypted one.  

•  Normal: The computer recognizes this device as one ordinary disk. 

•  Encrypted Only: The computer recognizes this device as one encrypted disk. 

•  Multi Drive: The computer recognizes this device as both ordinary and encrypted disks.   

•  Press and hold the Mode to get into this mode for the built-in memory information. 

•  Press and hold the Mode to get into this mode to see the firmware version

•  When downloading copy-protected music to this MP3 player, the DRM Time 

automatically records the DRM information for playing music smoothly. 

 
 

CONNECTING THIS MP3 PLAYER WITH YOUR COMPUTER

The Driver that is included is for Windows 98 Users Only. No driver installation is needed for 
Windows ME/ 2000/ XP users 
 
FOR WINDOW 98 USERS:  

Please install the driver for Windows 98 operation system BEFORE you connect the player to your 

computer.  

To install the driver for Windows 98, insert the included CD into the CD-Rom drive of your computer. 

a.  Right click on the CD drive and choose Open (or Explore). 

b.  Select Window 98 Driver folder and double click on “Setup.exe”.
