CHS212  Dual 12” In-Cabinet Subwoofer

•  The front fi ring and down fi ring woofers 

should be near a cabinet opening or grille.

•  The CHS212 amplifi er typically runs cool but 

should have some airspace behind the rear 

panel.

•  Slowly run a sweeping bass test tone or 

use a music disc with heavy bass to fi nd 

equipment cabinet vibrations.

•  Fix vibrations by fastening down unstable 

panels or isolating them with foam or felt 

materials.

•  Engage crossover bypass switch when 

utilizing crossover in preamp or receiver.

•  If possible remove bottom shelf of cabinet 

and place directly on the fl oor

•  Consult owner’s manual for phase and 

variable crossover adjustments. This will 

affect upper bass level and transition to front 

channels.

•  Confi rm that AV controller or receiver’s bass 

controls are properly set (“large”, “small”, 

etc.).
