DVD Record Quality

Sets the default quality for DVD
recording.

Press SETUP.

Select Record > DVD Quality.

Choose from the following:
HQ (best) – 1 hour/disc
SP (better) – 2 hours/disc
EP (good) – 4 hours/disc
SLP (fair) – 6 hours/disc

Auto Chapter Marking

Enables automatic chapter marking at
regular intervals during DVD recording.

Press SETUP.

Select Record > Chapter Mark.

Choose from the following:
Off – Disables automatic chapter
marking.
5~30 minutes – Chapters will be cre-
ated automatically every 5~30 min-
utes during recording.

• Automatic Chapter Marking makes it easy to browse your DVD

recordings using the PREV/NEXT buttons.

• To manually add chapter markers during recording, press EDIT.

A chapter marker will be added at the point the EDIT button is
pressed.

Tape Record Quality

Sets the default quality for DVD
recording.

Press SETUP.

Select Record > Tape Quality.

Choose from the following:
SP (good) – 2 hours/tape
EP (fair) – 6 hours/tape*
* when using a T-120 tape
