DVD Recorder+VCR User’s Guide
Copying DVD to VHS
Follow these steps to copy a DVD to VHS 
tape.
1 
Insert the DVD you wish to copy in 
the DVD deck.
2 
Insert a blank videotape in the VCR 
deck.
3 
Press DVD to control the DVD deck.
4 
Press PLAY to start playing the DVD.
5 
When playback reaches the point 
from which you want to start copy-
ing, press ONE TOUCH COPY on the 
remote control or front panel.
•  Playback will pause at the starting 
point.
6 
Press ONE TOUCH COPY again to start 
copying.
7 
When finished, press STOP to stop 
copying.

Copying Tapes/Discs
Copying VHS to DVD
Follow these steps to copy a VHS tape to 
DVD. 
•  It is not permitted to copy 
Macrovision encoded material. If the 
tape or disc you are attempting to 
copy is copy-protected, you will not 
be able to copy it.
1 
Insert the tape you wish to copy in 
the VCR deck.
2 
Insert a recordable disc in the DVD 
deck.
3 
Press VCR to control the VCR deck.
4 
Press PLAY to start playing the tape.
5 
When playback reaches the point 
from which you want to start copy-
ing, press ONE TOUCH COPY on the 
remote control or front panel.
•  Playback will pause at the starting 
point.
6 
Press ONE TOUCH COPY again to start 
copying.
7 
When finished, press STOP to stop 
copying.

•  You can also use Easy Guider to copy tapes and discs. 
Press GUIDER  , select “Copy,” and follow the on-screen 
instructions.
