Running a recovery will result in a total loss of data.
Always make sure to back up important data. We do
not take any responsibilities for data loss. Remove
the battery to reset the system when the following
symptoms happen.

- The PC does not recognize the player properly.

- Text appears broken and somewhat unreadable on

the screen.

- The player does not work.

- You cannot download or upload files.

b Firmware download.

When a screen appears, connect the player to the USB

port of the PC while pressing

when the player is recognized properly

as seen in the progress bar completion status.

The screen shows Firmware Download.

When the LGE MP3 Firmware download window

appears, check the current firmware version.

You should not check “Format Data Area” in order
not to do format.

Click [Start] to run the firmware updater. 

• We recommend the “Format Data Area”.

• Back up your data before executing this option.

Otherwise, all files will be deleted from the player.
