In power off state, press TAPE/DEMO on the unit 
once. The unit will power on and display the each 
of functions in the display window.

Press MUTE@ on the remote control to mute 

your sound.
You can mute your sound in order, for example, to 
answer the telephone. And “

q

” will appear in the 

display window.
To cancel MUTE function, press MUTE@again or 

adjust volume level by pressing VOL(+/-).

The screen saver appears when you leave the unit 
in stop mode for about five minutes. 

You must select the appropriate system mode for 
your TV system. If  “NO DISC” appears in the display 
window, press and hold M(PAUSE) on the remote 

control  or SET/CD M on the unit for more than 

five seconds to be able to select a system. (AUTO/
PAL/NTSC)

While playing an MP3 file containing file 
information, you can display the information by 
pressing DISPLAY on the remote control.

Auto DJ blends the end of one song into the 
beginning of another for seamless playback. 
It equalizes volume across tracks/files for 
uninterrupted playback.

Press AUTO DJ on the remote control or unit 
repeatedly, the display changes as followings order, 
(AUTO DJ RANDOM) ->(AUTO DJ SEQUENTIAL) -> 
(AUTO DJ OFF).

 •  Searching for a section within a track/file 

or playing repeatedly or randomly is not 
supported on the AUTO DJ mode.

 •  If you switch to other functions or stop 

playback by pressing Z(STOP) on the remote 
control twice (or STOP on the unit) on AUTO 
DJ mode, AUTO DJ function will be disable.

 •  AUTO DJ function is not supported in the 

music file whose length is less than 60 
seconds.

 • All musics are repeated continuously until 

the user deactivates the AUTO DJ function.

 • During the AUTO DJ operation, SCAN 

function is not available.

 • During recording, AUTO DJ function is not 

available.

 • If you change a disc while the AUTO 

DJ function is activated, the function is 
deactivated.
