Glossary 

All malicious types of software that are designed to compromise computer 
security and which usually spread through malicious methods. 

A message queue implementation for Windows Server operating systems.

Archives that contain multiple levels of sub-archives (that is, archives 
within archives). Also known as nested archives. 

A protocol used by websites to distribute content (feeds) that frequently 
changes (for example news items) with its subscribers. 

A protocol to ensure an integral and secure communication between 
networks. 

An internet standard used for email transmission across IP networks. 

Malicious software that compromises a computer by disguising itself as 
legitimate software. 

A virus detection technology implemented within antivirus software that is 
responsible for the actual detection of viruses. 

An infected computer that is made part of a Botnet through malware.
