Insert the battery and memory card
Before using the camera, check the battery level 
and number of exposures remaining.

Make sure that the battery is undamaged.  Failure 
to observe this precaution could result in fi re or in 
damage to the camera.  For more information,

Remove the camera strap
To  ensure that the camera strap does not get 
caught in the seal and cause a leak, be sure to 
remove the strap before placing the camera in 
the case.
