このたびはニコン  テレコンバータ  TC-
E15ED をお買い上げいただき、ありがと
うございます。このテレコンバータは下記
のニコンデジタルカメラに取り付けて、さ
らに望遠の撮影を行うためのレンズです。
テレコンバータを装着することにより、撮
影レンズの焦点距離は 1.5 倍になり、カメ
ラのズームをテレ端状態で撮影すると最も
望遠になります。

1  テレコンバータのリアキャップを外し

ます。

2 ［COOLPIX5700 の場合］

 

カメラの電源を OFF（オフ）にして、
カメラのレンズ先端部にアダプタリン
グ UR-E8（別売）を取り付け、その
リ ン グ の 前 面 に テ レ コ ン バ ー タ TC-
E15ED をねじ込みます。

  ［COOLPIX5400 の場合］

 

カメラの電源を OFF（オフ）にして、
カメラのレンズ先端部にアダプタリン
グ UR-E9（別売）を取り付け、その
リ ン グ の 前 面 に テ レ コ ン バ ー タ TC-
E15ED をねじ込みます。

3  フロントキャップを外します。

■ 「テレコンバータ」モードで撮影を行う

場合：
カメラの撮影メニュー項目の「コンバー
タ」を「テレコンバータ」モードにセッ
トすると、このテレコンバータの特性
を活かした撮影が自動的に行えます。

  ［COOLPIX5700 の場合］

1  モードセレクターで「撮影モード」

にセットします。

2  FUNC ボタンを押しながらコマン

ドダイアルを回して、カスタム NO.
の 1、2、3 のいずれかを選択します。

3  撮影メニューでマルチセレクターを

用いて、「コンバータ」を「テレコ
ンバータ」にセットします。

 

撮影画面に戻ると、液晶モニタにコ
ンバータ表示が点灯します。

  ［COOLPIX5400 の場合］

1  モードダイヤルを P、S、A、M の

いずれかにセットします。

2  撮影メニューでマルチセレクターを

用いて、「コンバータ」を「テレコ
ンバータ」にセットします。

 

撮影画面に戻ると、液晶モニタにコ
ンバータ表示が点灯します。

 

撮影時のご注意

・ カメラをこのモードにセットすると、

レンズが自動的にテレ端にセットさ
れ、最も狭い画角で撮影することがで
きます。

・ 内蔵スピードライトは発光禁止となり

ますが、別売の外付けスピードライト
を使用することにより、スピードライ
ト撮影が可能になります。

なお、「テレコンバータ」モードを使用
しない場合は、全域ズームが可能です
が、テレ側近傍以外では、画面の周囲
が暗く（ケラレ）写らなくなりますの
でご注意ください。

・  こ の テ レ コ ン バ ー タ は、 ニ コ ン デ

ジ タ ル カ メ ラ COOLPIX5700、
COOLPIX5400 専用です。その他の
カメラではご使用になれません。

・  テレコンバータの装着によりカメラの

重量が増加しますので、手ブレにご注
意ください。

・  テレコンバータをカメラに装着した状

態で、テレコンバータだけを持たない
でください。カメラ破損の原因となり
ます。また、持ち運ぶときはテレコン
バータを取り外してください。

・  撮影画面内あるいはその周辺に太陽な

どの明るい光源がある場合にはゴース
ト像を生じることがありますのでご注
意ください。

・  光学特性上、テレコンバータ使用時は、

遠景モードおよびマニュアルフォーカ
スでは設定した距離と実際のピント位
置が異なりますので、おすすめできま
せん。オートフォーカスを使用し、液
晶モニタによる確認の上ご使用くださ
い。

・  テレコンバータをご使用にならないと

きは、必ずテレコンバータ前後のキャッ
プをしておいてください。

・  レンズにキズをつけないようにご注意

ください。

・  レンズの清掃は、むやみに拭かないで、

ブロアーなどでほこりを払う程度にし
てください。万一指紋など前玉にごみ
が付着したときは、柔らかい清潔な木
綿のふきんに無水アルコール（エタノー
ル）を少量湿らせ、中心から外側に渦
巻状に、拭きむら、拭き残しのないよ
うに注意して拭いてください。

Vielen Dank für Ihr Vertrauen in Nikon-Pro-
dukte. Der Televorsatz TC-E15ED erweitert die 
Möglichkeiten der Telefotografi e mit den unten 
aufgeführten Nikon-Digitalkameras. Der Tele-
vorsatz TC-E15ED verlängert die Brennweite 
des eingebauten Objektivs um den Faktor 1,5 
und verkleinert damit zusätzlich zur maximalen 
Teleposition des Objektivs den Bildwinkel.

1.  Nehmen Sie den hinteren Deckel vom 

Objektivvorsatz ab.

2.  Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Kamera 

ausgeschaltet ist, und montieren Sie den 
für Ihre COOLPIX-Kamera erforderlichen 
Vorsatzadapter (siehe Tabelle 1) an das 
Objektiv der Kamera. Schrauben Sie 
anschließend den Objektivvorsatz in das 
Gewinde des Vorsatzadapters ein.

3.  Nehmen Sie den vorderen Deckel vom 

Objektivvorsatz ab.

Wählen Sie im Aufnahmemenü der Kamera 
die für den Televorsatz TC-E15ED geeignete 
Option. Die Kamera aktiviert daraufhin alle 
erforderlichen und optimalen Einstellungen 
für das Fotografi eren mit Televorsatz. Ausführ-
lichere Informationen zu dieser Menüoption 
fi nden Sie im Handbuch zur Digitalfotografi e, 
das mit Ihrer Digitalkamera geliefert wurde.

COOLPIX 5700

1.  Stellen Sie den Betriebsartenschalter auf 

Aufnahme.

2.  Wählen Sie die Konfi guration 1, 2 oder 

3. Nähere Informationen dazu fi nden Sie 
im Handbuch zur Digitalfotografi e.

3.  Navigieren Sie mit dem Multifunktionswähler 

im Aufnahmemenü zum Menü »Objektiv« 
und wählen Sie die Option »Telefoto 1«.

 

Verlassen Sie das Menü, um zur Auf-
nahmebereitschaft zurückzukehren. Auf 
dem Monitor und im Sucher wird nun ein 
Symbol für Objektivvorsätze angezeigt.

COOLPIX 5400

1.  Stellen Sie das Funktionswählrad auf P, 

S, A oder M.

2.  Navigieren Sie mit dem Multifunktions-

wähler im Aufnahmemenü zum Menü 
»Objektivvorsatz« und wählen Sie die 
Option »Televorsatz«.

 

Verlassen Sie das Menü, um zur Auf-
nahmebereitschaft zurückzukehren. Auf 
dem Monitor und im Sucher wird nun ein 
Symbol für Objektivvorsätze angezeigt.

Bitte beachten Sie:

•  Wenn die Option für den Televorsatz ge-

wählt wird, zoomt die Kamera das Objektiv 
automatisch in die maximale Teleposition, 
damit die beste Telewirkung erzielt wird.

•  Das integrierte Blitzgerät wird bei 

aktivierter Option für den Televorsatz 
automatisch deaktiviert (»Blitz aus«). 
Externe Blitzgeräte können jedoch ge-
nutzt werden (optionales Zubehör).

Es ist auch möglich, mit dem TC-E15ED zu fo-
tografi eren, wenn die Option »Televorsatz« 
bzw. »Telefoto 1« nicht gewählt ist. In diesem 
Fall können Sie den gesamten Zoombereich 
nutzen. Sie sollten jedoch beachten, dass beim 
Fotografi eren mit kürzeren Brennweiten als 
bei maximaler Teleposition der Bildwinkel des 
Objektivvorsatzes nicht ausreicht, um die Bild-
fl äche vollständig auszufüllen: Das Bild ist von 
einem dunklen Rand umgeben. 

Thank you for your purchase of a 
Nikon TC-E15ED telephoto converter.  
Mounted on the Nikon digital cameras 
listed below, the TC-E15ED will increase 
the focal length of the camera lens by 
1.5, increasing the zoom range of the 
camera and maximizing the zoom 
ratio when the camera is zoomed all 
the way out. 

1. Remove the cap on the back of the 

converter lens. 

2. After confi rming that the camera is 

off, attach the adapter ring shown 
in Table 1 to the camera lens.  Screw 
the converter lens into the front of 
the adapter. 

3. Remove the front cap from the 

converter lens.

Selecting Telephoto for the LENS op-
tion in the shooting menu automatically 
adjusts settings to take full advantage 
of a telephoto converter lens.  See the 
camera manual for details.

COOLPIX 5700
1. Set the mode selector to shooting 

mode.

2. Set the camera to User Set 1, 2 or 

3.  Refer to the Guide to Digital 
Photography for details.

3. Use the multi selector to select Tele-

photo from the LENS sub-menu in 
the SHOOTING menu.

  Return to shooting mode. A con-

verter lens icon will be displayed in 
the monitor or viewfi nder.

COOLPIX 5400
1. Rotate the mode dial to P, S, A or 

M.

2. Use the multi selector to select Tele-

photo from the LENS sub-menu in 
the SHOOTING menu.

  Return to shooting mode. A con-

verter lens icon will be displayed in 
the monitor or viewfi nder.

Notes
•  When the camera is set to Telephoto 

mode, the lens is automatically 
zoomed in to the maximum zoom 
position, allowing you to take photo-
graphs at the at the maximum zoom 
ratio.

•  The pop-up Speedlight is automati-

cally set to Flash Cancel (Off). How-
ever, you can still use an optional 
external Speedlight.

Photographs can be taken using the 
converter lens even if Telephoto is not 
selected. The whole zoom range can be 
used, but photographs taken at settings 
other than maximum zoom will contain 
a black border.

•  This converter lens is intended for 

use with the Nikon COOLPIX 5700 
and 5400. It cannot be used with 
other cameras.

• Mounting the converter lens in-

creases the total weight of your 
camera. To prevent blurring, be 
sure to hold the camera fi rmly, or 
mount the camera on a tripod.

•  When attached, do not pick the 

camera up by the converter lens 
alone, as this may damage the 
equipment. You should also be 
sure to detach the converter lens 
when transporting the camera.

•  “Ghosting” may occur when a very 

bright light source, such as the sun, 
is framed in the photograph or is 
just outside the frame.

•  When focus mode is set to infi nity 

with the converter lens attached, 
the actual focus distance will differ 
from the distance selected due to 
optical characteristics of the con-
verter. It is recommended that you 
check the image in the monitor or 
viewfi nder or take a test photo-
graph before recording the fi nal 
photo.

•  Replace the front and rear lens caps 

when the converter lens is not in 
use. Note that it is sometimes dif-
fi cult to remove the front cap when 
the ambient temperature is low.

•  Be careful not to scratch the lens, 

which projects out from the con-
verter lens and is susceptible to 
damage.

•  When cleaning the lens, remove 

dust with a blower. Do not apply 
force. If a fi ngerprint or other stain 
is found on the lens, wipe it off 
gently with a soft, clean, cotton 
cloth dampened lightly with pure 
ethanol. Move the cloth in an even 
spiral from the center outward, be-
ing sure to clean all parts of the 
lens.

A lens case and protective caps (front 
and rear) are supplied as standard ac-
cessories with this converter lens.  Please 
make sure that they are included.

•  Der Televorsatz TC-E15ED ist nur für 

die Verwendung mit den Nikon-Digi-
talkameras COOLPIX 5700 und 5400 
vorgesehen. Er kann nicht mit anderen 
Kameras genutzt werden.

•  Ein montierter Objektivvorsatz erhöht 

das Gesamtgewicht der Kamera. Um 
verwackelte Aufnahmen zu vermeiden, 
sollten Sie die Kamera sehr ruhig halten 
oder auf ein Stativ montieren.

•  Halten Sie die Kamera stets am Body 

und niemals am Objektivvorsatz allein 
fest – auch beim Hochheben oder Weg-
legen. Andernfalls können Kamera und 
Objektivvorsatz beschädigt werden. Vor 
dem Transport der Kamera sollten Sie 
den Objektivvorsatz vom Objektiv ab-
nehmen.

•  Wenn sich eine sehr helle Lichtquelle 

wie die Sonne innerhalb oder nur knapp 
außerhalb des Bildfeldes befi ndet, zeigt 
die Aufnahme möglicherweise uner-
wünschte Lichteffekte (Ghosting).

•  Bei der Fokuseinstellung »Unendlich« 

stimmt die Schärfeebene aufgrund der 
optischen Eigenschaften des Objektiv-
vorsatzes nicht exakt mit der gewählten 
Entfernung überein. Bitte prüfen Sie die 
Schärfe auf dem Monitor bzw. im Sucher 
oder mit Hilfe einer Testaufnahme.

•  Setzen Sie immer den vorderen und 

hinteren Deckel auf, wenn Sie den 
Objektivvorsatz vom Objektiv abneh-
men und nicht mehr benutzen. Bitte 
beachten Sie, dass sich der vordere 
Objektivdeckel bei niedrigen Tempe-
raturen etwas schwergängiger auf 
den Objektivvorsatz aufsetzen bzw. 
von ihm abziehen lässt.

•  Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass die Linsen 

des Objektivvorsatzes nicht verkratzen. 
Insbesondere die Frontlinse ist aufgrund 
ihrer Wölbung besonders gefährdet.

•  Gehen Sie bei der Reinigung stets 

vorsichtig vor, um den Objektivvorsatz 
und seine Linsen nicht zu beschädigen. 
Entfernen Sie Staub mit einem Blasebalg 
und Fingerabdrücke und andere Ablage-
rungen mit einem sauberen und weichen 
Tuch. Falls nötig, können Sie das Tuch 
vorher mit etwas Ethanol (Ethylalkohol) 
anfeuchten (verwenden Sie nur reinen 
Alkohol aus dem Fachhandel oder der 
Apotheke). Wischen Sie vorsichtig in 
kreisenden Bewegungen von der Linsen-
mitte nach außen, sodass die gesamte 
Linsenoberfl äche gereinigt wird.

Der Televorsatz TC-E15ED wird standard-
mäßig mit Weichtasche und zwei Deckeln 
geliefert. Bitte vergewissern Sie sich, dass 
dieses Standardzubehör in der Packung 
enthalten ist.

quisition du convertisseur grand-angle 
TC-E15ED. Une fois fi xé sur les appareils 
numériques Nikon listés ci-dessous, le 
TC-E15ED augmentera la focale de l’objectif 
de 1,5x, élargissant ainsi la plage de zoom de 
l’appareil photo et maximisant la valeur de 
zoom en position grand-angle maximum.

1.  Enlevez le bouchon à l’arrière du con-

 ver tis seur.

2.  Après avoir confi rmé que l’appareil photo 

est hors tension, montez la bague d’adap-
tation citée dans le tableau 1 sur l’objec-
tif de l’appareil photo. Vissez ensuite le 
convertisseur à l’avant de l’adaptateur.

3.  Enlevez le bouchon avant du convertis-

seur.

Sélectionner  Téléobjectif  dans l’option 
OBJECTIF du menu prise de vue règle auto-
matiquement les paramètres afi n d’obtenir 
une utilisation maximale du convertisseur 
grand-angle. Voir le manuel de l’appareil 
photo pour de plus amples détails.

COOLPIX 5700

1.  Tournez le sélecteur de mode sur le mode 

de prise de vue.

2.  Réglez l’appareil photo sur User Set 1, 2 

ou 3. Pour de plus amples explications, 
consultez le Guide de la Photographie 
Numérique.

3.  A l’aide du sélecteur multi-directionnel, 

sélectionnez Téléobjectif dans le sous-
menu OBJECTIF du menu PRISE DE 
VUE. 

 

Revenez au mode prise de vue. Un icone 
convertisseur sera affi ché sur l’écran ou 
dans le viseur.

COOLPIX 5400

1.  Positionnez le sélecteur de mode sur P, 

S, A ou M.

2.  A l’aide du sélecteur multi-directionnel, 

sélectionnez Téléobjectif dans le sous-
menu OBJECTIF du menu PRISE DE 
VUE. 

 

Revenez au mode prise de vue. Un icone 
convertisseur sera affi ché sur l’écran ou 
dans le viseur.

Remarques

•  Lorsque l’appareil numérique est réglé sur 

le mode Téléobjectif, l’objectif effectue 
automatiquement un zoom avant jusqu’à 
sa position maximale, vous permettant 
ainsi d’effectuer des prises de vue avec 
le rapport hauteur/largeur maximal.

•  Le Flash direct est automatiquement réglé 

sur Flash annulé (désactivé). Vous pou-
vez néanmoins utiliser un fl ash externe 
optionnel. 

Des prises de vue peuvent être effectuées 
à l’aide du convertisseur, même si le mode 
Téléobjectif n’est pas sélectionné. Toute 
la gamme de focales du zoom peut être 
utilisée, mais toutes les photos réalisées 
à des réglages autres que zoom maximal 
comporteront des bordures noires. 

Attention  : La bague d’adaptation ci-

tée dans le tableau 1 doit 
être utilisée pour fi xer le 
TC-E15ED à l’appareil.

•  Ce convertisseur est destiné aux appa-

reils Nikon CoolPix 5700 et 5400. Il ne 
peut donc pas être utilisé avec d’autres 
appareils photo.

•   Lorsque le convertisseur est monté sur 

l’appareil, cela accroît le poids de ce 
dernier. Afi n d’éviter des photos fl oues, 
tenez l’appareil bien fermement, ou 
montez-le sur un trépied.

•   Une fois le convertisseur monté, n’attra-

pez pas l’appareil par le convertisseur, 
car cela pourrait endommager tout 
l’équipement. Veillez à démonter le 
convertisseur, lors du transport de 
l’appareil photo.

•    Une “double image” risque d’apparaî-

tre lorsqu’une source de lumière très 
forte, tel que le soleil, est cadré dans la 
photo ou juste en dehors de la vue.

•   Lorsque le mode de mise au point est 

réglé sur l’infi ni quand le convertisseur 
est monté, la distance focale réelle dif-
férera de la distance sélectionnée en 
raison des caractéristiques optiques du 
convertisseur. Il vous est conseillé de 
vérifi er l’image dans le moniteur ou le 
viseur ou d’effectuer une photo d'essai 
avant d’enregistrer la photo fi nale.

•   Replacez les bouchons avant et arrière 

du convertisseur lorsque vous n’utilisez 
pas ce dernier. Nous vous faisons remar-
quer qu’il est parfois diffi cile d’enlever le 
bouchon avant lorsque la température 
ambiante est faible.

•  Veillez à ne pas rayer l’objectif qui se 

projète du convertisseur et qui peut se 
détériorer.

•  Lors du nettoyage de l’objectif, enle-

vez la poussière à l’aide d’un pinceau 
souffl ant. N’appliquez pas de force. S’il 
y a des empreintes ou de la poussière 
sur l’objectif , nettoyez-les soigneuse-
ment avec une chiffon doux et propre 
imbibé d’éthanol pur. Passez le chiffon 
en effectuant des petits cercles à partir 
du centre pour bien nettoyer toutes les 
parties de l’objectif.

Une boîtier pour objectif et des bouchons 
d’objectif (avant et arrière) sont fournis en 
tant qu’accessoires standard avec le conver-
tisseur. Assurez-vous qu’ils accompagnent 
bien le convertisseur.
