Fan speed setting
To ensure that optical parts last as long as possible, you can increase the fan speed.
Option
Function
Normal
Sets the fan to a slower speed. Use when quiet operation is required.
High speed
Increases the fan speed, for a relatively longer useful life of optical parts.
Although the fan will be louder, use this setting if the useful life of optical
parts is most important.
• [Registration] and [Advanced registration] settings are retained even if you change
the panel drive mode.
• 5-point adjustment enables basic correction of color misalignment across the
screen, by moving adjustment points in the center and each corner. To correct
registration only in certain areas, try manual adjustment.
• Any values you set in 5-point adjustment are retained if you subsequently perform
manual adjustment. For more precise correction after 5-point adjustment, perform
manual adjustment.
• Any manual adjustment values you set before switching to 5-point adjustment are
cleared.
Incorrect settings may shorten the useful life of the lamp or other parts.
• Be sure to perform this setting to use vertical projection.
• Projecting vertically without using this setting will shorten the useful life of the lamp
and other parts.
• Even if you complete this setting, vertical projection will result in a shorter useful life
of the lamp and other parts than horizontal projection.
