Clear the Flash Log
To clear the flash log:
1.
Select Monitoring > Logs > FLASH Log.
The FLASH Log screen displays.
2.
Click the Clear button.
All messages are removed.
Configure Syslog Servers and Enable the Server Log
If you configure a syslog server and enable the server log, the smart switch forwards log
messages to one or more syslog servers or other type of syslog host. By default, the server
log is disabled.

Add a Syslog Server
To add a syslog server:
1.
Select Monitoring > Logs > Server Log.
The Server Log screen displays. The following figure shows an example.

This is a nonconfigurable field that shows Active as the status of the syslog server
