Creating a Profile for a Dialup Network
Follow these steps to create a dialup network profile:
1.
Select Profiles From the Tools menu. The Network Profiles window will now be

Click Add. The first page of the wizard used to create Dialup network profiles appears
(see page 123).

By default, access telephone numbers are assumed to be local (i.e. you do not need
to dial the area code or other prefix prior to the number itself). If this number requires
that you dial the area code or you need to dial a special prefix prior to dialing this
number, check the Use dial properties box and then click the Dial Properties button
to configure the appropriate settings.

6.
If the Area code must be dialed before this number, enter it now.
7.
Enter the local portion of the number to be dialed (the portion that follows the area
code) in the space marked Phone number.

Select the Country in which the number to be dialed is located.

Click Next. The General page appears (see page 132).
10.
Configure the settings in the General page as desired and then click Finish.
