When you use a web browser to log in to the AirCard Smart Cradle, you can open a tab in the 
browser to configure a mobile hotspot. The mobile hotspot must be docked in the Smart 
Cradle.



Launch a web browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the 
Smart Cradle.

In the address field of the browser, enter http://netgear.cradle or http://192.168.100.1.

A login prompt displays.

Enter the cradle user name and password.

The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and 
password are case-sensitive.

The BASIC Home screen displays.

Select Hotspot Manager.

The mobile hotspot’s web-based home page opens in a new tab. For more information, 
see the user manual for your mobile hotspot. To view the hotspot’s user manual, click the 
link on the hotspot’s home page.

You can set up the Smart Cradle to use a WAN Internet connection and to failover to your 
mobile hotspot’s Internet connection if the WAN connection goes offline.
