To save the printer definition, choose the OK button in the View/Change Printer
dialog. Once a printer has been defined and saved, Paris creates an .SPD file in the

SPD Files
SPD stands for Spooler Printer Definition. This is a text file that simply contains
the name of the printer definition, the current status and the current priority.
