Configuring the FTP server

Complete the following steps to configure the WFTPD server:

1. Select [Start: Settings: Control Panel].

2. Double click on the [WFTPD FTP Server] icon.

3. Under Servers, select [New Server]. The Create Server

dialog box opens.

4. In the Name this Server text box, enter the server name.

5. In the Listen at Address text box, remove the default value

and enter the IP address of the computer.

6. Select [OK].

7. Highlight the server you just created and select [Configure...].

8. With the Security tab selected, complete the following steps:

a. Ensure the [Enable Security] and [Allow users to write to

files.] check boxes are marked.

b. Make the following setting changes:

•

Maximum User Count = 10

•

Idle Timeout (seconds) = 300
