Chapter 6  Managing MeetingPlace Web
Figure 6-6  Audio Encoding Services Configuration
Publishing Voice Recordings
If you want to publish voice information over the data network,
you should ensure that your Windows server host name is entered
in the lists on the WAV Conversion Parameters, the RealAudio
Conversion Parameters, and the Windows Media Conversion
Parameters tabs.
In most cases, you should not need to change the audio services.
This window is primarily used to configure MeetingPlace Web
for high volume audio conversion applications where multiple
MeetingPlace audio servers are involved. If you do need to make
any changes, make sure the host name is the UNC of the
RealServer.
If you do require multiple audio servers, you should first install
the audio service on each audio server. Then, ensure that the
logon user ID and password on each audio server is the same as
the account the replication service uses to log in on this machine.
Then, you can add the other audio conversion servers to this list.
When you add an audio conversion server, make sure to use the
new server’s computer name and not its host name.
