WebEx Meeting Center Release Notes and FAQs
Accessibility
Several enhancements were made in the Meeting application for the Windows platform to
provide keyboard accessibility and partial Screen Reader support in certain features.
These enhancements comply with Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act. For
additional information, refer to the “Accessing the meeting window using the keyboard”
topic in Meeting Center Help.
In this release, users can now access the Meeting Controls panel and other floating panels
using the keyboard when sharing content in full-screen mode.
Mac
localization
This release provides support for ten languages on Mac: Simplified Chinese, Traditional
Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish
(LAS).
High-definition
video
Share and view up to high-definition quality resolution video. Participate in a high-
definition video experience with up to 720p resolution. For more information, see the

in full-screen
mode
During application or desktop sharing or while sharing a document in full-screen mode,
participants can send and stop their own video and see their self-view directly on the
video display panel without the need to open the Participants panel.
Known Issues/Limitations
This section contains known issues and limitations that affect only Meeting Center. For more information
about the browsers, operating systems, supported by WebEx, and known issues that affect other WebEx
Tagging
internal
invitees
Tags for internal participants do not appear in in the following cases:
•
When the participant joins from the Cisco WebEx Connect application
•
When the participant joins from mobile device
•
When a participant using One Touch TelePresence Plus is not using SAML single sign-
on
•
In Personal Conference meetings
File sharing If you are a host using Windows and do not have a universal printer driver installed on your
system, you will not be able to share any file types except Microsoft PowerPoint files during
file sharing. In this case, the system will provide an option to move to application sharing
instead of file sharing or to install a universal printer driver before you proceed. (Windows 7
systems come preinstalled with a universal printer driver.)
Streaming
media
sharing
Attendee video resolution is optimized to 480p. Video files with higher resolution are resized
to fit (640 X 480) resolution.
The following media file formats are currently supported: WMV, WMA, WAV, MP3, ASF, AVI,
MPG, MPEG, MOV, FLV, F4V, QT, and MP4.

MP4 and MOV video files cannot be shared in a WebEx Meeting if they cannot be
played by the installed QuickTime player
•
Recommended System requirements for video file sharing on Presenter side:

Core2-Duo E6750 @ 2.66GHz for VGA file is required
o
AMD 9650 2.3GHz (4 core) 8GB is preferred
o
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo -E7400 2.8GHz 2.79GHz is preferred
