File Import Specifications
Using MeetingTime, you can import profile and group information using a
comma-delimited ASCII file. The import file must contain the user ID and
profile number for each user profile record. If used, the group name and
group number values must also be included. Inclusion of other fields is
optional. If fields are excluded from the import file, MeetingPlace takes the
values from the guest profile or from the user group to which the user has
been assigned. The first line of the ASCII file must contain field names that
denote the order of the data in the import records.

User-specific fields. When adding users to the system, these are the most important fields to include in the import
file.
2
Use this field when you need to assign new IDs to a large number of users. To import a series of new user IDs, create
an import file and specify each user’s old ID using the uid field; and specify their new ID using the newuid field.
Note: During an import, the prfpwd and upwd fields may still be used for clear text passwords. However, adding data
in both the clear text and encrypted password fields will override the encrypted version if both fields are present in
the import file.
