Change the IP address of a Peer

To change the IP address of a VCS peer you must remove the VCS from the cluster, change its IP address, and then add 
the VCS back into the cluster.

The process is as follows:

 

1.

Ensure that the VCS whose IP address is to be changed is not the primary VCS.

If it is the primary VCS, follow the steps in 

 to make a different peer the 

primary.

 

2.

Carry out the process documented in
