For cluster communications (between Cisco VCS peers / Cisco TMS): 

 

IP port 22 (TCP) is used for Cisco VCS cluster configuration synchronization 

 

IP port 389 (TCP) is used for diagnostics 

 

IP port 636 (TCP) is reserved, currently not used 

 

IP port 8989 (TCP) is used for FindMe and provisioning data synchronization replication 

 

IP port 4444 (TCP) is used for FindMe and provisioning data synchronization administration from 
Cisco TMS to Cisco VCS 

 

For cluster communications (between Cisco VCS peers): 

 

IP port 500 (UDP) for PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) key exchange 

 

Standard SIP and H.323 ports are used for calls 

 

IP port 1719 (UDP) is used for bandwidth updates between Cisco VCS peers 

 

IP port 4369 (TCP) from IP port 4369 or an ephemeral port for Erlang database connection control 

 

IP port 4371 (TCP) from IP port 4371 or an ephemeral port for Erlang database communication 

 

IP port 4372 (TCP) from IP port 4372 or an ephemeral port for Erlang database copy 

 

IP port 4373 (TCP) from IP port 4373 or an ephemeral port for Erlang database copy 
 
… and on to 

 

IP port 4380 (TCP) from IP port 4380 or an ephemeral port for Erlang database copy 

 
 

It is unusual to have any sort of firewall between cluster peers, but if there is, all these IP ports must 
be open between each and every Cisco VCS peer in the cluster.
