This procedure assumes that Cisco TMS, if required for Device Provisioning or FindMe, is already
running version 12.5 or 12.6 software and was made operational with the cluster as part of the
upgrade or creation of the X5 cluster.

Non-clustered Cisco VCSs are not upgraded as part of this procedure.
Before the upgrade
Verify the correct operation of TMS Agent by running TMS agent diagnostics:
1. Log into Cisco TMS.

TMS Agent Browser panel on the left side of the page, select Local TMS Agent.

Run All Diagnostics to run the diagnostic tests on the Local TMS Agent.

Upgrade Cisco TMS 12.5 to Cisco TMS 12.6
If Cisco TMS is running 12.5, upgrade it to 12.6
1. For each Cisco VCS cluster or non-clustered Cisco VCS managed by the Cisco TMS:

a. For each cluster in Cisco TMS:

Systems > Navigator (and any required sub folders).

Select the Master Cisco VCS of the cluster
iii. Select

Clustering tab.
iv. Clear
the
Enable TMS Agent Data Replication on all Cluster Peers check box (if it
was set).
v. Click
Save Cluster Settings.
Note: This disables database replication from Cisco TMS to each cluster peer.
Provisioning data will no longer be updated from Cisco TMS to the Cisco VCSs, however
provisioning of endpoints from data cached on Cisco VCSs will continue.

Repeat for each Cisco VCS cluster in Cisco TMS
