Parts of the Camera

 The Front Command Dial
The front command dial is used as described below.

Rotate the dial to choose the desired combination of shutter speed and aperture (program 
shift; 

P 35), fi ne-tune shutter speed (P 36, 38), adjust exposure compensation when 

C is selected with the exposure compensation dial (

P 57), or view other pictures in playback mode 

(

P 39).

Press the center of the dial to switch back and forth between shutter speed and exposure 
compensation when C is selected with the exposure compensation dial (

P 35, 36, 38, 57).
