To set up Recording and Statistics Service replication, first ensure that both SQL
instances are on and that all associated services are running. All firewalls must be
properly configured. Select On for Recording and Statistics Replication. A dialog box
appears, prompting you to enter the primary server hostname for Recording and
Statistics replication. Enter the hostname, then click OK. Another dialog box appears,
prompting you to enter the secondary server hostname for Recording and Statistics
replication. Enter the hostname, then click OK.

Click Apply to save your changes.

NOTE: For Recording and Statistics replication, verification of
replication must be performed in SQL Server Management Studio.
This verification is necessary regardless of whether the CAD
Configuration Setup utility indicates that Replication Setup was
successful. For more information on verifying replication and other
troubleshooting steps, refer to the “Recording and Statistics Service
SQL Server Replication Problems” section of the Cisco CAD
Troubleshooting Guide.

NOTE: If you changed the Database Directory field on the Recording
and Statistics Database Configuration node to a database directory
that is not the default you must change it on both servers before
proceeding with Recording and Statistics replication. It will not
populate automatically to the other server. This change must be
applied to both servers.

Replication Problems” section of the Cisco CAD Troubleshooting Guide.

NOTE: If the CAD servers are joined in a domain, you might need to
enter in the full qualified domain name (FQDN) of the CAD servers for
replication to succeed.
