Configuring the routable address of the VCS
The routable address of the VCS (its FQDN) is the address supplied by the provisioning system to the
provisioned device for it to use as its SIP registrar (the address to which it sends registration requests).

1. Go to
System > Clustering

2. Configure the Cluster name to the routable address of the VCS: ideally the DNS SRV address of the
VCS, alternatively a DNS A record or an IP address.
Typically your IT department will supply the FQDN for this VCS and ensure that the network is configured
to route SIP calls, HTTPS and other IP traffic to this VCS when addressed to the FQDN.
You must configure the Cluster name regardless of whether the VCS is part of a cluster.

3. Click Save.
Configuring a SIP domain
The VCS must be configured with the SIP domain to be used for this installation.
To configure a SIP domain:
1. Go to
Configuration > Domains
.
2. Click New.
3. Enter the domain name into the Name field, such as example.com.
4. Click Create domain.
5. The
Domains
page displays all configured SIP domain names.
