Appendix 7 – B2BUA and AM GW integration
If the B2BUA-based OCS/Lync integration is to also integrate with a Cisco Advanced Media Gateway
(AM GW), the Enable transcoders for this B2BUA setting on the

With a B2BUA deployment, there should not be a neighbor zone from the VCS towards the AM GW.
VCS configuration
In addition, the following must be configured on the VCS running B2BUA:
1. On the VCS, go to
Applications > B2BUA > Microsoft OCS/Lync > B2BUA trusted hosts
and
add the AM GW:

Name: friendly name of AM GW, e.g. “Oslo AMGW 1”
•
IP address: IP address of AM GW, e.g. 10.47.43.30
•
Type: Transcoder
2. On the VCS, go to
Applications > B2BUA > Transcoders
and add the AM GW:

Address: IP address of AM GW, e.g. 10.47.43.30
•
Port: This port should match the Encrypted SIP (TLS) port configured on the
Network >
Services
page on the AM GW, default 5061.

Known limitations
The following limitations and known issues apply when using AM GW in combination with an
OCS/Lync integration:
